Analogue Baby upgrade their new 88RS with the SP2 Scoring Panel
23 March 2011

Analogue Baby have decided to upgrade their 88RS with the SP2 film scoring panel, before it leaves the factory in the next few months.
Studio manager Greg Burnell says:
"Over the last few weeks, we have had lots of enquiries from some of the world’s top scoring engineers. With hindsight, this should have come as no surprise as the 88RS is a console synonymous with recording and mixing blockbuster film scores, as well as the world best sounding albums. With all of the interest from the scoring community we decided to upgrade the console with the SP2, this will put us amongst the top few studios in the world for score mixing. The Roger D'Arcy room is a ground up surround capable design so it makes sense for us to offer the same capabilities as Abbey Road, Air Lyndhurst and Warner."
Owner Andrew Bramhall adds:
"We want to offer a facility where clients can feel comfortable in the knowledge that they have the same console capabilities as when they are working at Abbey Road or Air. We will be a breath of fresh air for the scoring clients, offering a new studio in a part of the country that will be new and exciting to them. Liverpool and Manchester both have a fast growing film industry and a real pop culture."
The addition of the SP2 eight track scoring panel upgrades the 88RS monitoring section to a hugely flexible film scoring configuration consisting of; a 48 x 3 input monitor matrix with bus/tape1/tape2 switching, 8 wide Film Stems. Four 48 input 2Track mixers, multiple sets of 8 wide loudspeaker monitoring with fold down and mono functions along with AC3, DS4, Lt Rt and mono inserts. These outstanding features confirms the 88RS position as the ultimate console of choice for scoring, music recording and mixing.
Analogue Baby will take delivery of their console within the next 3 months.
