All the additional paths needed for these new 3D and surround formats are effortlessly catered for with the USP Engine.

Object properties can dynamically be assigned to a channel seamlessly using Object stem assignment. No pre-designation required for a particular channel to become an Object path. This also allows for easy Object re-use.
Both the stem elements of the Bed mix and Objects (grouped in stems) can be included or isolated from the monitor mix using the DFC Surround Monitor Panel.
Integration with the Dolby RMU allows object panning metadata to be transmitted over Ethernet and the RMU speaker meters are returned to the DFCs meter bridge for accurate monitoring of all speakers being heard in the room.
