Oscars 2102 – The Golden Sound of AMS Neve

5th March 2012

Even the “silent” film winner “The Artist” had a music soundtrack mixed on AMS Neve equipment.

Nearly all of the 2012 OscarTM nominees had their soundtrack mixed and/or music recorded on AMS Neve’s consoles.  These included “Hugo”; “The Iron Lady”; “Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy”; “War Horse”; “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”; “The adventures of Tintin”; “Moneyball”; “Midnight in Paris”; “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close”.

The AMS Neve DFC Film console is a past recipient of its own Technical OscarTM for its design and contribution to the art and science of motion picture sound mixing.  All AMS Neve products are designed and manufactured in Burnley, England, and 80% of these are exported to over 40 countries.
