WEEE Compliance Statement
Version 3
January 2026
The UK Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) 2013 Regulations (available online) require the UK to maximise the separate collection, reuse and recycling of WEEE. The UK WEEE Regulations apply to all Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) placed on the UK market that are covered by the scope of these Regulations.
Distributor obligations – B2B EEE
B2B Producers are required to finance the costs of collection, treatment, recovery and environmentally sound disposal of B2B WEEE from end users:
- for B2B WEEE where they have produced and placed B2B EEE onto the market on or after 13 August 2005; or
- for B2B WEEE where they are supplying new B2B EEE intending to replace or carry out a similar function to the B2B EEE products that were placed onto the market before 13 August 2005.
As a company registered as a B2B Producer under the UK WEEE Regulations, AMS Neve Ltd allows end users of the B2B EEE placed on the UK market to return WEEE. Such WEEE can be returned to the following location: AMS Neve, Billington Road, Burnley, Lancashire, UK, BB11 5UB. Alternatively, you can contact Wastecare via email at compliance@wastecare.co.uk or call 0330 331 1801 to arrange collection from your premises.
If you would prefer us to collect your WEEE from your premises, please contact us, as there will be a collection charge for collecting such WEEE and delivering it to an Approved Authorised Treatment Facility (AATF). The charge will only cover transportation and handling costs and will not include any treatment or reprocessing costs of WEEE as defined by the UK WEEE Regulations.
Producer obligations
Under the UK WEEE Regulations, Producers are required to mark all relevant EEE with a crossed-out wheelie bin symbol to remind consumers not to discard WEEE in the domestic waste stream. AMS Neve Ltd. encourages all customers to make note of this symbol and avoid disposing of WEEE in domestic waste bins or containers.

AMS Neve Ltd. supports the reuse and recycling of WEEE as there are several environmental benefits of doing so, including reducing raw material and energy usage, preventing landfill, and preventing hazardous and/or toxic materials present in some WEEE from contaminating the environment.
As a Producer under the UK WEEE Regulations, AMS Neve Ltd. complies with its Producer Obligations by being registered as a Member of the Wastecare WEEE Producer Compliance Scheme and obtaining the WEEE Producer Registration Number – WEE/CF0002ZR.
Wastecare WEEE Producer Compliance Scheme is operated by Wastecare Compliance Plc, registration number 06043169. The Scheme is approved by the Environment Agency, registration number WEE/MP3538PZ/SCH.
