The 1084 EQ brings the soul of the legendary 8028 Sound City console to your studio, responsible for decades of the world’s favourite music. The 1084 EQ isn’t homage – it’s the same circuits, the same legendary sound, carried forward.

The dedicated Neve Elements App gives you complete digital control of the 1084 EQ when you want to work independently of the DAW. Nothing about the sound is emulated – you are growing out of the box into authentic Neve analogue circuitry.

Control the 1084 EQ directly from your DAW, via the Element Control Plugin, with every setting totally recallable, offering instant reset of all parameters. Available for every DAW via AAX, AU or VST3 formats.

An essential snapshot system allows you to store and recall all Elements systems, archiving them to the computer, or offline. Alongside the snapshot system, an extensive undo system allows for multiple steps of control reset, ideal for mix revisions and smoothing out mistakes.

Flexible control grouping lets you link any number of Element processors of the same type, giving you unified control over large groups of instruments.

The 1084 EQ includes an insert send and return connection with digital control matrix over insert signal flow positioning.

The 1084 EQ’s Inductor-based equalisers provide a distinct, musical sound,  saturating smoothly and reacting non-linearly to signal levels, adding a pleasant harmonic warmth.

The Neve 1084 EQ bands were chosen to expand upon the fixed, musical frequencies of the iconic 1073 while giving mixing engineers more surgical control over the low-end, lower-mids, presence range, and high-frequency “air”
