in:ciite Studios Invests in the Future with a Neve Genesys Black G96 with G3D
For a number of years, Studio A at in:ciite Studios in Nashville had been built around the same large-format console. As the studio continued to evolve, so too did the demands of its clients, with increasingly complex workflows spanning music production, post-production and immersive audio. Looking to invest in the future while retaining the analogue sound and hands-on workflow its engineers valued, the team began searching for a console capable of bridging the gap between traditional recording techniques and modern production.
That search led them to the Neve Genesys Black G96 with G3D.

Working closely with the team at Neve, in:ciite Studios commissioned one of the largest Genesys Black configurations available. Designed specifically around the studio’s workflow, the system combines Neve’s renowned analogue signal path with the advanced control, automation and DAW integration offered by the Genesys architecture, creating a seamless hybrid production environment.
The new console now sits at the heart of Studio A, supporting projects across music recording, mixing, post-production and immersive audio. Its hybrid design enables engineers to move effortlessly between analogue processing and digital workflows, reducing setup times, streamlining recall and giving artists, producers and mixers the flexibility to work in whichever way best suits their creative process.
“We were looking for a console that combines the depth and character of world-class analogue recording with the flexibility, recall and workflow efficiency today’s creators demand,” said Chris Thomason, President and Co-Owner of in:ciite Studios.
“Moving to the Genesys Black G96 is about investing in the future of production. The team were exceptional partners throughout the process, helping us create a console that delivers the best of both analogue and digital workflows.”
For Thomason, the investment represents more than a new console. It reflects the studio’s commitment to providing artists, producers and post-production teams with a creative environment capable of supporting the next generation of music, film and immersive productions.
“At its core, this investment reflects our belief that remarkable creativity deserves great tools,” he added.
“The Genesys Black is more than just a console, it is a platform that brings together exceptional talent, world-class sound and innovative workflows to create experiences that resonate long after sessions end.”
With the installation complete, in:ciite Studios has taken another significant step forward, reinforcing its reputation as one of Nashville’s premier recording and post-production facilities while embracing a workflow designed for the future of content creation.
